Online Safety
Children are using technology at a much earlier age than in the past and we aim to instil a sense of responsibility and caution in our children's use of technology. Through our curriculum, we teach the children about staying safe online, through the use of the SMART rules, and through discussing topics such as cyberbullying, use of social media and reliability of information found on the internet. Our SchoolsBeat Officer and police officers delivering the Mini Police programme also talk to the older children about this topic as part of their visits.
Information for parents is delivered regularly through our newsletters. If you have any queries regarding online safety, please get in contact with our pastoral team.
