Science

Children are naturally inquisitive, and here at Innsworth Juniors we aim to provide our children with the necessary skills and opportunities to investigate their curiosity. We believe science should provide the children with moments of awe and wonder which leaves them excited to explore and discover more about the world around them.

Our curriculum is carefully planned and children are encouraged to ask their own questions, exploring the answers through scientific investigations. They will also become more familiar with scientific thinking such as making predictions, fair testing, observing changes over time, collecting results in a variety of ways, analysing results and drawing conclusions.

We hope that children leave Innnsworth Junior School with a broader scientific understanding of the world they live in as well as the skills required to further their scientific journey.
