    Executive Headteacher

    Hello! My name is Mrs Jones. I am the Executive Headteacher for the Innsworth Schools’ Partnership. I have been in education for 20 years with 8 years headship experience and hold the NPQH (National Professional Qualification in Headship). I have worked in a variety of schools including outstanding schools and spending a year tackling problems in a failing school. Leading learning here is a real privilege and I hope you feel welcome in our school.

    Hello! My name is Mrs Steele. I am the Inclusion manager for the Innsworth Schools’ Partnership and have the National award for Special Educational Needs Coordination. The most rewarding part of my job is working with you and your children. I enjoy supporting your children to make progress and achieve their potential.

    Hello! My name is Mrs Samson and I have been teaching at Innsworth since 2005. I am currently the subject leader for Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) and have previously been the creative curriculum lead. In addition, I am in charge of the library. I am a qualified middle leader and have shared responsibility for assessment.

    Hello! My name is Mrs Desborough and I have been teaching at Innsworth since 2011. I am currently the Maths subject leader and have completed an Outstanding Teacher program and middle leadership qualification (NPQML). I use these skills to enhance my role as a mentor for trainee teachers, of which we have several each year.

    Hello! My name is Mr Douglas. As P.E. subject leader I am responsible for arranging sporting events and coaching sessions, as well as running several after schools sports clubs which include rugby, football, rounders and cross country. I am a qualified ‘Scrum Ready’ and Level 2 Rugby coach and in the Spring term I coach the rugby team.

    Mrs Wilmot is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and specialises in Maths and Computing. She is also the Off-site Visit Co-ordinator.

    Mrs Ballinger is NNEB and Nurture Group trained and specialises in behaviour and emotional education.

    Pastoral Teaching Assistant

    Mrs Kay has an NVQ level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. She is Nurture trained and supports children with their emotional well-being and other pastoral needs.

    Hello! My name is Miss Schofield and I am the Deputy Headteacher. I have taught at Innsworth since 2001 and have been subject leader for English, Maths and Music (which is my main specialism). I am also a qualified Maths Specialist Teacher (MaST) and recently gained my National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).

    Hello! My name is Mrs Pendlebury and I have been teaching at Innsworth Junior School since 2001. I am the English subject leader and am a KS2 writing moderator for Gloucestershire. In addition to this, I am a member of the senior leadership team and have the qualification for senior leaders (NPQSL).

    Hello! My name is Mrs Kemmett. I qualified in 1994 with a BA(Ed) hons degree in Biology and Education and have been the Science Subject Leader for many years. I have taught in Year 5 and/or 6 for most of my teaching career and have a very good understanding of SATs. I also lead the residential visit (for Y5/6 children ).

    Hello! My name is Mrs Megarry. I have been working at Innsworth Junior School for 2 years and have experience from Year 3 to Year 6. I am the Computing Subject Leader and also love to teach science.

    Hello! My name is Miss Meredith RQT (Recently Qualified Teacher) and I have been teaching at Innsworth Junior School since 2017. I qualified with a BA(Ed) Hons degree in 2016 and spent the rest of the year teaching in a variety of Gloucestershire schools from Year 1 - 6 through supply work. I am the RE lead for the junior school and also enjoy teaching mathematics!

    Mrs Smith has a degree in Music and a Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 3 qualification.

    Mrs Sterry has significant experience of supporting children in both the Infant and Junior Schools. She specialises in 1 to 1 and small group interventions.

    Mrs Jennings has a degree in Business Studies and an NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification. She specialises in the Fizzy Programme and delivers a range of other interventions.
