As part of our topic studying plants, we sowed some Nasturtium seeds in little pots in the classroom. We are really looking forward to seeing the shoots appear. We know that to germinate, the seeds need:
We realised that to start with the seeds do not need light, but as soon as the shoot appears above the soil, then they also need daylight. Later we will be taking the young plants home to plant out so that they can flower in our gardens at home. We hope they will look like the photo above. |
